Something to live for.

I have currently decided that life is not fun or worth anything unless you go out of the norms and guidelines which society establishes.

By this I in no way mean to break the law. I also do not mean for you to become an alcoholic or a drug addict. What I mean is for you to follow something you truly enjoy and find passion in. And I feel that society sets guidelines for how we should live our lives but does not give us an idea of how we should find that thing that will inspire us or keep us going.

My life is great right now. I am not saying this to make anyone feel bad, or to make my own life seem better than it is. But its because I am busy doing things I love. Everyday I have something to do, to look forward to. I mean I have the normal responsibilities of a high school senior; homework and such. But everyday i have something in school or after school that makes me want to live. That may sound like a drastic dramatization of this, but really its true.

Everyday I wakeup and I am like: woah. I can do something today. Something I want to do.

For example: I have soccer. The season is ending soon, but I love it. I love the sport. I love the competition. And I love my team.

I have blacApps. Look it up on blacapps.blogspot.com. Its the iOS making company. Trust me, its the most fun I have had in a long time. I can sit down with these guys and literally talk for hours upon hours. I have to thank Chad Smith for bringing us together and working for us to do this as a group.

I have Italy. OMG. I hate that acronym shit but I used it. Because I am going to Italy with literally my best friends for two weeks. Its going to be wild. Expect me to excessively blog about it soon.

And lastly, I have Stanford. My ideal college. I cant even describe the excitement I feel everyday as I think of my four years I will spend there.

Giel

Giel
So I decided to get back into trying to do my own blog again.
Why you may ask?

Yeah I asked myself that too.

But I think its mainly because I need a place to share my thoughts on things, even if absolutely nobody reads them. And instead of ranting on Facebook or being a complete hipster and using Tumblr I decided to delete my old GielStories blog and make a new blog with a simpler name.

So, here it is, "Giel." Enjoy ladies and gentleman, enjoy. I will try to keep you entertained. Or at least informed on my ever changing opinions and interests.
